 Telecommunications Requirements
According to the Telecom Act a concession is required for installing, operating and maintaining and operating a public telecommunication infrastructure. Companies are required to apply for a concession (sometimes referred to as an authorization) for a wide array of services subdivided in the following categories:
- Radio
- TV
- Shipping
- Aviation
- Fixed Radar Installation
- Exploitation Data Services
- MSS (Mobile Satellite Services) Services (Data)
- MSS (Mobile Satellite Services) Services (Telephony)
- Mobile Radio Communication
- Fixed radio connections
- Installations for industrial, scientific, and medical purposes
- Production, trade, export, reparation and installation per branch
- Amateur Radio
- Granting of exemptions and supervision of compliance
Some concessions can be applied for by printing and filling out an available form. Whatever else may be needed to apply is listed on the form. Applicants of the other concessions which have no printable form listed on this site, can submit their request in writing by mail, fax or email.
